Architectures, once was the manifestation of power that confine the activities of a society, are changing their functionalities in the phase of globalization. My architectural paintings are dynamic and multi-perspective, a metaphoric correspondence to the restless and detached relationship between “places” and “mobile residents” worldwide. Starting with contemplation of a real space, I use methods like removal and addition to distort and re-identify the space. The process of painting echoes with the ever-changing contour of a global city. Borrowing minimal, glassy and concrete characteristics of contemporary buildings, my paintings contain only geometrical shapes and least symbolic objects. Spaces are never homogenous as the soul of each city is unique.
